Welcome to Early Scholars Preschool. We offer half day programs for children 2½ - 5 years of age. We provide an opportunity for physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth in a positive learning Christian environment.
Early Scholars Preschool Mission Statement
To enable children to build their self esteem so they may grow to their potential in preparation for Kindergarten.
Early Scholars Preschool's curriculum is story book based to provide an Early Literacy environment that is planned by the staff. As children become truly familiar with a story through multiple readings and extended learning opportunities, they learn and practise important language skills such as:
- being able to predict
- retell stories/role playing
- recall details
- use words in various contexts
- answer questions about stories
- learn new dialogue and social scripts
